Stream from Larix Broadcaster
Larix Broadcaster turns a phone into a portable encoder. Add a new RTMP connection pointed at your Stream Repeater ingest URL and broadcast from anywhere on mobile data or Wi-Fi.
New connection
Step by step
Follow these in Larix Broadcaster — it takes about a minute.
Open Connections
In Larix, tap the gear → Connections → New connection.
Enter the URL
Paste your RTMP server plus stream path as the connection URL.
Set mode to Publish
Make sure the connection mode is Publish, not Play.
Add RTMP auth
Enable RTMP authentication and enter your stream name as the login and your key as the password.
Tap the record button
Save, return to the camera, and tap the big button to go live.
Your ingest details
Use these in the fields above. The exact values for your stream are on its page in the portal.
Your stream key is unique and can be rotated at any time. A separate read-only playback key is provided for previews, so sharing a preview never exposes your publish credentials.
Pro tips for Larix
Small tweaks that keep your relays clean and resilient.
- On the move, cap the bitrate (e.g. 3–4 Mbps at 720p) so it survives mobile data.
- Larix also supports SRT and RTSP if you need lower latency or lossy-network resilience.
- Lock the orientation before going live so your relays stay the right way up.
